Here's an example of what you can do to perform this simple but potent spell.
1.) Cleanse your working space and set your intention on what it is you're planning on doing. This can be spoken out loud in spell form or can be spoken inside your mind.
2.) Dedicate your Ancestor Veneration Witch Bottle to aid you in the connection to your Ancestors, or specific person you wish to connect with. Place on your altar as a representation of them. You can place a piece of paper underneath the bottle or write on the back of it, the person's name.
3.) Carve the name of your Ancestor(s) on the gravestone candles and light them to honor them and begin veneration. You can also add pictures to your space and play their favorite music as well.
4.) Use the Sandalwood Spray alone as an offering and to spritz your surroundings. Or the Witch Bottle can be used in conjunction with the spray as an offering as well.
5.) Scatter some of the lavender buds around your working space and save some for under your pillow.
6.) Open the parchment and begin writing your letter to your Ancestor(s). Write as much or as little as you wish and it can be anything you wish. You can wish to be visited in your dreams by them, to wish them well, to tell them your heart's desire, or anything else you deem is appropriate. Once finished writing your letter, burn the letter or fold it towards yourself and place it under your pillow with some of the provided lavender buds.
